About my life and what I'm looking for

Simply put, I'm looking for someone to make memories with. Life is too short to hope to bump into Mr. Right on the street, so I am being proactive now :) I'm looking for someone to laugh with, talk about politics and the news constantly (an absolute must), someone who loves to eat and enjoy all that Philadelphia has to offer with me. I am fun, very hard to personally offend, and love to sit with a bottle of wine and talk about anything and everything. :)

A quick description of me: I majored in Risk Management at Temple University and am an insurance broker in the city (NOT personal lines thank you very much). Due to this I am slightly risk adverse, but if we can create some sort of contingency plan I'm usually OK with being reckless ;) I am a very passionate person in all that I do. I have an opinion about everything, and that opinion is subject to change without notice. I am a huge political nerd. Usually, if something isn't on TV, I have some sort of cable news on. My liberal friends think I'm a crazy conservative, and my conservative family thinks I'm an elitist liberal, which I think by definition makes me a moderate.

My dog is a very important part of my life, and if you are a person that just "tolerates" dogs, then you may not be a good fit.

I love to travel, love to do new things, I love food, walks in the park, dog park excursions...etc etc. I live in Rittenhouse Square, and used to live in Old City, so I have a pretty good feel for this city by now.

As for you, I need you to be funny, relatable, relaxed, capable of going out on the town or staying in with a pizza and a movie. You need to be smart and capable of keeping up with my political rants and raves, and always willing to have a good conversation. I could go on for hours...but isn't that what the first date is for?
