About my life and what I'm looking for

Since I am new at this, I'll start by telling you a little about me. I am someone who loves to smile. I am open (maybe too much at times). I love listening and encouraging others. I spent 4 years in the Army. I am currently working with a chiropractor and love my job. I enjoy working with and helping my patients. I am a hard working single parent (a proud Mother of a 2 1/2 yr old).
I love spending time with my family and friends. I am a fan of wine but it's always better shared. I love the outdoors. I hiked a bit of the Appalachian trail (only a week), have dabbled in spelunking , and have a long "to do" list of other activities and travels. I really enjoy live music but prefer bar/restaurant over a concert.
I am looking for someone who is confident but not arrogant. I want someone who notices and appreciates the little things in life. It would be nice to find someone who likes "do it yourself" projects as much as I do. I'm willing to try a variety of activities. I will be honest, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for out of this. It's hard with my schedule to meet new people. So I'm trying something new.
